Area around Carrollton and City Park Ave is nice. I have family there and never felt unsafe. It’s actually quite nice.

Don't have exact locations but they seem like they're a couple blocks off Canal near the Jefferson Davis Trail
Greatly depends on the location still.
Which other major street are they close to?
Carrollton? Jeff Davis? Broad?
Makes a big difference...

I’m curious as to how you deduced that an area called “mid-city”, is not in the middle of the city, but in the suburbs.
I don't know man. I'm not from here and the only part of NOLA I've been to is the Quarter and Business district. That to me is "downtown" so I figured anything outside of that is a suburb.

Top ten eateries you’ll most likely find me when in mid city
10. Liuzzas (not the gross one by the track)
9. Wits Inn
8. Venezia
7. Katie’s
6. Mr Ed’s
5. Burger King on Canal
4. Mandinas
3. Brocatos
2. Parkway
1. Dominos
And mid city is certainly a suburb. There’s nothing urban about it. The highest building is an abandoned hospital.

I don’t define myself by a generic, arbitrary generation, like some non native New Orleanians do.

Looks like it's somewhere along Bienville closer to Jeff Davis.

You're good for the most part.
Really great bars pretty close by.

I've been looking at some places to stay around New year's. I'm looking more towards Uptown close to Oak Street. How would that compare to Mid City?
Posted on 12/4/19 at 2:23 pm to ThePenIsMightier
if you going to fq and bourbon a lot Midcity is going to be much more convenient dude

Great area of NOLA as well with a few bars and restaurants nearby.
Not as convenient to Downtown but there are definitely pros to that area.

My office is right there at that intersection, and I can assure you that you will be fine.

I went to mid city whole foods once and someone said I went to whole foods in the hood. So apparently their hoods have whole foods which is all kind of confusing to me.
