Outraged Fans Need to Rethink These Rankings

If we were #1, we would have to be more impressive than Ohio State to remain there, just like two weeks ago. But now, as long as we win, and beat the #4 team in the country, giving us 5 wins vs AP Top 10 teams...they will have no choice but to put us in the top spot

You really think the committee would put us back in the top spot after all the shenanigans they just pulled with the rankings? I hate to break it to you, but it ain’t happening.

Not necessarily. If Ohio blows the doors off Wisky (likely) & LSU barely beats UGA, Committee will go back to the “ complete team” argument & leave LSU #2.
Don’t see where AP rankings are relevant—Committee can arrange a T25 list to suit their own agenda.

Ok, but if we are #1, and for some reason lose to UGA, it’s MUCH harder for the CFP to move us out of the top 4!

Just stop! Enjoy our ride! Enjoy the collapse is Bama! Bama played a weak schedule and lost to both teams that worth a shite...hence the severe drop. It was well-deserved.

It is hard to get biased votes with national polls like AP and coaches but when you put it in the hands of a small group of people you can't possibly get unbiased rankings. It is just like making decisions based on a sample of 13 vs 102.

Yep... that's exactly what is being said.
You're looking at 4 games in a 13 game season and focusing on marginal differences in the rankings while completely overlooking at how those teams have actually looked on the field.
