Just found out we are having Catered Thanksgiving

I just found out we are having a catered Thanksgiving with my FIL...it was picked up yesterday and all to be reheated today. Wtf is this? My wife and I both enjoy cooking and would have gladly made a turkey and 2-3 easy sides.
I’m sure it’s going to be good food, but come on...They are both retired, it’s not like they have a busy life. Pretty frustrated.

We are doing that this year and I'm heating everything up right now. We got a turkey meal and a ham meal from Market Street. Just been too busy this year to go all out with the cooking.

Never understood having Thanksgiving catered... hell when I was a bachelor living out of state and couldn’t make it back home for Thanksgiving... I prepared myself a Thanksgiving Day meal... just don’t feel right nit eating home cooked food in Thanksgiving

Depends on where it is from, could be better catered.
