Is Norvell Going To Be This Season’s Bidding War Coach?

I’m hearing that he is already playing schools off one another, those who have fired their coaches and those who are thinking about firing their coaches.
Does someone call his bluff? Where does he end up?
Arkansas?
Florida State?
Auburn?
Mississippi State?
Southern Cal?

Supposedly Norvell has a few skeletons in his closet that have scared a few schools away, and I’m not talking about Bear Bryant’s.
Campbell and Kiffin and Fleck are the Big three names this cycle. Well besides Urban of course, and maybe Stoops.

Clearly the OP doesn't know about Norvell's Scarface-like cocaine habbit, and the fact he's knocked up half the Pom Squad. He makes Kiffin look like a choir boy.

Norvell is too good of a coach to stay at Memphis. He could win at a lot of places. I thought he would get Arizona State before they hired Herm.

Arkansas was going after him hard when the job first came open, but talks and the rumors surrounding them have since died down.
I think this has become a Sexton special where he's playing Arkansas against FSU for the highest bidder. If we're going by history with these battles, I don't like Arkansas' chances. Who knows with our new AD and current state of the program though.
