We’ve discussed this with our CPA, if we move our residence to TX we would save about $30-40K a year in taxes.

Tantrums LOL. I’ve lived in this shitty state way too long as it is. Wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars of state tax money because I loved the culture. Just time to move on. Especially when I the option to do it.
