Nostalgia factor.

The movie is hot garbage unless you first saw it between the ages of 5-12.

No. TMNT is a good movie. TMNT 2 is so awful, it’s entertaining...like The Room.

I loved both as a kid, never really liked the 3rd one. Haven’t watched them in years though.

Super campy, but I’ll have to check them out again as an adult

They couldn't even use weapons in 2.

This movie was my childhood, I remember listening to the soundtrack in the rearview facing seats of our Chevrolet Celebrity station wagon.

The first movie is the best, by far. It's a great comic book movie overall.

TMNT 2, while fun, gets a little too hokey at times, but still has enough of the feel from 1 to make it good. III was just awful.

I caught this over the weekend and it was more than I expected. It’s a pretty amazing, and unlikely story

Hell naw man. The scene in the original where you see shredder for the first time while addressing his boys is still one of my favorite scenes ever.
