He works on the flow of the offense. Studying the game. When to shoot and when to pass. He uses this knowledge to choose wrongly in order to best facilitate the tank.

Whoever would have thought that Solo would pass the Tank Commander duties to Jrue?

He had a full class schedule with AD this offseason:

Not Being a Leader 8-9:30
Playing Without Passion 10-11:30
Sabotaging A Season 12-3

Then an open court shoot around mastering losing the dribble as you drive and throwing layups off the backboard as hard as physically possible

I genuinely don’t think I’ve seen him make a 3. I know he has, but not when I’m watching. Maybe it’s my fault, probably not, either way he’s strugglin hard.

He can't not score with enough with the tempo we want to play and the tempo our opponents are playing with. He is all iso and he does that well, but the ball normally stops moving for half the shot clock.

was 1 of 2 net negative starters tonight
shot 25% from the floor, 0 for 7 from 3

great, he had 11 assists...he still turned it over 6 times as well.

its easy to blame frank jackson, NAW, or even moore for shite play. they're role players, not your leader

Leave aside all the Griffin hype machine which was really just a ploy to take pressure off of Zion anyway, Jrue has not played well.

He's defending as well as he ever has. But even though he's getting assists, he's turning the ball over a lot, shooting miserably from everyone on the floor, including the rim, and really, he looks uncomfortable and over the hill.

And I know he's not over the hill. I'm not gonna blow the horn of the "Trade Jrue" train, but we absolutely need to be listening if any team calls about him. With both ears.

Is he? Honestly his defense reminds me of AD. He goes for constant steals whether his man has the ball or not, and leaves his already crappy defensive team mates in horrible situations. He also lazily rotates back to his man whenever he's caught ball watching/going for a steal.

It's basically hero ball but on the defensive end.

Yes, he’s still a great defender, your opinion is just wrong

I think he works on losing his dribble in the lane and jumping to turn the ball over...he is fricking elite at that.

It’s going to be fun around here when Jrue
goes off one night.
