Thoughts?

I have been pleasantly surprised by him so far I think he meshes well with Joel.

He’s not very good right now but broadcasting takes reps so I’m not saying he won’t be good with time. David Wesley took a while to hit his stride.

He's definitely knowledgeable about the game, he has a Habit of repeating himself alot though

I’ve always liked tDaniels, but I also miss Wesley, He was one of my favorite Hornets.
Antonio goes know the game and he clearly prepares for the broadcast.

I’m still undecided on AD.

He gets a bit overhyped at times, which I kind of like, but I’m really not used to his voice yet and I’m always off put at the start of broadcasts. I’m sure once I get used to him, I’ll come to appreciate him more. He definitely knows what he’s talking about.

He’s not bad but he says a lot of basketball coach speak. Things like, “it all starts with ball movement” and things like that. Overall I think he’s good.

He will be fine, but he is definitely more homer than wesley.

Watching other teams crews, you'll see how biased they are towards their team. Wesley wasn't like that at all and called it like he saw it. AD is more in line with those other color guys.

That and he gets super hyped and sounds like he's yelling into the mic.

Give hima season or two and he'll be good.

I think he's incredibly knowledgeable, but he's worse at this than Wesley was his first year. He has a long way to go to improve.

I think he's doing good. Especially since he's just starting out. I love the knowledge he brings. He breaks things down VERY well. But I do miss Wesley's personality though. I think the banter between him and Joel felt more natural. But give AD more time and I'm sure his personality will start coming through more.

And pulling the Booger and talking too much. Sometimes less is more, but that will come in time

I don't think he has the voice for commentary. He is enthusiastic and fairly knowledgeable so there is that going for him

I just assumed Wesley was gone. I was surprised to see him in the post game show. I didnt like the move at all at first, but like you say, he'll hopefully hit his stride. I thought Joel and David were a great combo though. Daniels would be super critical after games, maybe he'll add a little of that mid game. I like when the home team announcers dont give the home team a free pass on everything.

Reminds me of Booger in how redundant he is. DW was pretty bad at first tho so def giving AD a chance.

I think Daniels is holding alot back because he is more criticl of Gentry. Where Joel is Mr. Positive and makes sure everything they say doesnt directly hurt Gentry.

I rather Wesley ad Daniels do the commentating.

Joal and Gentry should both be let go at the same time, since Joel is the only person who wants gentry as a coach

You can GTFO out. Joel is a saint and a scholar. Dude is as good as it gets. You dont need two guys in the booth railing the team. Joel is also very complimentary of the other team, he's just a positive guy that gives credit where credit is do. You wont hear any home team in game analyst being critical of the coach on a regular basis. Thats how you get fired. The owner of a club doesnt want their analyst adding fuel to the fire to the fanbase.

This seems personal

There is a difference between stating an obvivious fact that our offense is not working and saying today is just not our day, for the past 2-3 years under Gentry
