Considering you're in Georgia, you want to give a specific location?

Honestly was a let down for me, was not bad at all just not what it was built up to be.

It is likely some hole in the wall joint that is still using lard or tallow.

Without a geographic limitation, the best friend chicken I have ever eaten is from ad hoc. Either there or addendum behind it make the most mind-blowing chicken. I have never had fried chicken at any of his other restaurants but Thomas Keller can prepare great chicken in every form.

That said I could eat a pile of Blue Store wings right now.

Thomas Keller Roasted Chicken

He does a perfect roasted chicken as well. I’ve eaten at Ad Hoc but don’t remember the chicken. If you want to read a good book with his history try The Soul of a Chef by Michael Ruhlman. It’s old-2000 but a good read on his starting out and how he got The French Laundry. It also has a good bit about Michael Symon and how he got started in Cleveland-well before his Food Network time.

And I would put my wife’s fried chicken with my biscuits up in my favorite category. Had this for the game yesterday.
