Wish it was a law that if you’re living in a college town solely for the purpose of attending the university there and won’t be a permanent resident after graduation, you shouldn’t be able to vote in local elections.
The elections of places like Oxford and Baton Rouge are flooded with a transient population of college students who have no prior ties and won’t be there after graduating.

the nytimes website gives a county by county breakdwn and is usually as fast updating as all the Jackson news station websites.
