But how about conservatives give us a good candidate next time so we don't have to keep hearing "hold your nose and vote".

I agree! Trump was the first R that I felt proud to vote for. All Rs at the state and local level, I had to hold my nose and vote. But those candidates never win anyway.

I begrudgingly agree, but I really, really hate Tate Reeves.

If I knew him personally I am convinced he would be who I hate most in the whole word.

Tate sucks and is unlike-able and has such a punchable face, but I can’t ever bring myself to vote for a Democrat again

Imagine a New Yorker telling southern people how to vote. Why don’t you work on your local brethren, rather that people a thousand miles away?

Imagine a "cajun" being a leftist POS...

Why don't you move to Cali with your own brethren?

GOPe has had the governor's mansion for 16 years and the trifecta for 8. Just saying...

And the things the GOP has controlled are better than they've ever been in MS.

Jackson's problems are 100% on the Dems. They've been given all the money and opportunity that anyone could hope for, and they've turned everything into bigger piles of crap (and stolen funds)

Hood is apparently desperate. He has a robocall running from Barrack Obama in Mississippi.

Wonder why he waited until this morning to play that card?

If he's smart, it'll be focused to only Jackson and the Delta.

This is where MS has to stand up. Reeves may not be the best, but look at the US Reps right now. How many are toting the party line?

Should Hood win, he might turn some seats within the state in the next election. He could also pull an Alabama and replace a few GOP guys in Congress

I will be doing my part after work!

Can’t let Hood get into office. Dude looks like a slimy used car salesman. I will take the conservative douche over the liberal shite sandwich any day.

Jackson, like most Democrat controlled cities, is the distillation of liberal policy...horrible public schools, corruption, crime, poverty and blame.

You’d think people would wake up.

And yet he's STILL a better option than Hood.

Perfect way to describe it. This is the absolute truth. There hasn't been a Conservative voice or influence in Jackson in decades, and look where they are

Turnout is high in Madison. That usually is good for the Republican, but a lot of the conservative anti-Tate movement is coming from Madison/Rankin.

Outside the metro, Tate will dominate the conservative strongholds in Northeast and on the Coast. Wonder why Trump was in Tupelo and Pence was on the Coast? That's where there was a chance to motivate the vote.

I can't understand the multiple conservatives I know voting for Hood or sitting it out. Even talked to someone yesterday planning to vote for Singletary as a form of protest.
