Packing up to leave outside the gate cause I hadn’t seen anything all morning. Opened my gun case, ejected my mag and chamber. 5 seconds later the biggest doe I’ve seen all weekend hops out of the woods 20 feet in front of me and looks at me like I’m some idiot. Try to stand as still as possible to load a round, she turns around and pranced off into the distance.

Was done hunting and walking out when I saw a couple doe. One ran away from me and the other ran right up on me. She wasn’t big but it’s good to get some meat in the freezer.
