Anyone know of some good neighborhoods to trick or treat in?

I usually do two different candy bins. One for the kids in our neighborhood and one for the kids that get bused in from BR.

The stretch of Highland between Campus and Downtown is notorious for giving out the big candy bars.
If they are all out, try Gardere

Well not bussing kids in just 2 white kids and trust me I’d much rather do it in my neighborhood but like I stated no one trick or treats here my neighborhood is so small and I may have moved here a year ago but I know where belaire and Zion city are trying to let my kids get candy not robbed out there shoes and socks and asked if they wanna buy crack lol the park idea would be awesome if my neighborhood had a park... but was hoping just to find some info where me and my wife could bring them so they can have a good time

So the neighborhood that the st Patrick’s parade goes through that’s not a bad idea considering my dad lives in that neighborhood I could park at his house

It's called punctuation, try it.

I am sorry I didn’t punctuate properly. I did not mean to offend you Mr. English teacher sir.

Yep. We definitely have two baskets of candy at my house to pass out from. One for the “foreigners” and another for the neighborhood kids.

The kids don't bother me. It's their pathetic parents that do. Driving a car around the neighborhood following them from how to house because they're too lazy to walk. Halloween should be a night where there are hardly any cars on the road. Instead, there are more cars than usual. That's why I can't stand the parents that drive in. It's a safety issue.

I agree 100%. if a neighborhood is big for halloween, that neighborhood should not have cars driving around unless absolutely needed.. driving house to house is annoying as hell, and there are to many kids running around having fun that shouldn’t be worried about some lazy f’er hitting them.

Anyone know of some good neighborhoods to trick or treat in? Moved here from Metairie and I’m not sure where to go. Was thinking maybe kenilworth neighborhood, or shanadoah? Both of them are so big I don’t wanna walk the kids down to every 10th house is giving out candy
I don't live in a neighborhood, We have a mini-Subdivision of 6 three acre lots. Trick or treating is not an option. We are invited to halloween parties every year in neighborhoods . If you are not invited, you should bring your kid to your local church for Trunk-or-treat.

Valley Park, Southmoor, and Howell Park will guarantee a frightful Halloween night.
