I have read Rich Dad, Poor Dad a few times because I enjoy it so much. Any books you would recommend to the 23 year old version of yourself?

Whatever Happened to Penny Candy? A fast, clear, and fun explanation of the economics you need for success in your career, business, and investments by Richard Mulberry would be a good one

One of my favorites. Gonna have my daughter (no pics) who is a senior read it the summer after she graduates.

One of those books I've been meaning to read but still haven't. Once I finish my Rapid EKG Interpretation book by Dubin, for the 2nd time I'll move on to the financial topic again and get that one. I know I can check it out at the library, but maybe it's worth buying?

Even though my favorite financial boom every printed, I think most of the rest of them are far more applicable to the average household.
I love investment and company analysis but even I was dozing off in several chapters.

Since you liked Rich Dad, Poor Dad, read Cash Flow Quadrant also by same author. I liked it better.

yep. excellent book. more actual details. rich dad poor dad was a good story but all fluff and no substance of actually how to make money. more like a tony robbins emotional pump you up seminar then leaves you flat at the end with no real path. The book you reference discusses paths and different cash flows.

Why is the Joe Ross book so expensive?

I will teach you how to be rich by Ramit Seti. I was skeptical because of the title, but recommend.
Here's what I've learned over the years- be careful with personal finance books. Most of them lean HARD to one central theme. This is because personal finance books are a tough sell, so you have to enrich it somehow.
Dave Ramsey, Suze Orman, Robert Kiyosaki, they all have great advice but can be too absolute in their opinions.
