Is it possible that missing the World Cup, and the pressure of being the face of the USMNT at such a young age has broken Pulisic?

He has had a ton of pressure put on him by US soccer fans, and has had a lot of crappy situations happen in his club career. He went from the Dortmund wonder child to being overshadowed by Sancho. He transfers to Chelsea and is getting overshadowed by Mount and cannot even crack the 18 some games. I was talking with a Chelsea supporter from London at a bar the other night, and he said Pulisic is considered lazy and not tough enough to play in the EPL by Chelsea fans.

We desperately need Weston or Adams to step up and take some pressure off of him for the USMNT. Does he maybe need a loan away from Chelsea to get some PT and get his head back on straight.

Don't get me wrong, he is still one of our 3 best players, with GOAT potential, but he seems to be in a really bad place mentally right now. His breakdown after being subbed off last night really said a lot IMO.

I love the kid but on the real

He was getting phased out at BVB once they brought some stud players in.

He moves to Chelsea for a manager who didn't want him. He's going to have to fight every day in training to get playing time on the pitch.

This is probably the best thing for him at this age to get him in an eviroment where he has to fight for his place in the team day in day out.

Thats what we need all of our players doing and thats why so many feel MLS is having a negative impact on the USMNT.

The whole federation is broken, so he's probably broken too.

Pulisic is a good player, but he was WAY overhyped.

He is a useful player, but at a club like Chelsea he will never be a week in/out starter unless there are injuries or if he hits a great stretch of form.

He needs Pedro and willian to leave as well, but Chelsea will almost certainly bring in another wide player when that happens and CHO looks like he is going to be a stud as well.

That's what happens when you are a black hole of the ball. If you dribble that much(and yeah he's magnificent at it), somebody like Sancho can overshadow you.

He could have opened his game up to work 1-2s with Sancho and Reus. Dortmund found a kid with better handles. Sancho holds the ball too much sometimes as well, but his ball skills are better than Pulisic.

Old habits are very hard to break.

I never understood the Pulisic hype. Yes I understand everyone wants to root for the American. But at some point you have to be realistic.

That being said, i was on the Mason Mount train since day one.

The answer is no, and I’m an idiot for thinking so.
