Let me start by saying that this has nothing to do with what the main entree is. Let’s imagine you have to choose a dinner with just 2 sides that pair well with each other. What do you choose?
The WFDT last night got me thinking. Corn and green beans are my 1A and mashed potatoes and peas are my 1B.

As far as consistency for any meal, and nothing I’ll ever tire of, nothing beats a good rice and gravy with corn.
