Thoughts from a Gators Fan, like you give a $&@?!

Tiger Nation, I come in peace but expect to receive none. All good. Die hard Gator Alumn thought I’d share my thoughts from enemy territory, like you give a %#$

First, some common ground: just like you, Bama sucks, and I’ll be knee deep in a bottle of bourbon at game time (Woodford, and not Jimmy Beam like an unsophisticated cowbell ringing Miss St fan)

To quote the late Keith Jackson, “Whoa Nelly” this rivalry has gotten visceral real quick, and not just between the fans and players. Even the bands and administrators have thrown some punches.

As for me, I think it’s really “Petty” (pun intended) As a card carrying member of the 99% of an alcoholic club, I liked it when LSU came to town. You guys are rowdy as hell, but didn’t start too many fights (unlike the hillbilly Vols). My type of people. Geaux Drunkards!!!

To the game: the windbags on ESPN are saying your O (not your coach) and our D(not our wiener) is the match up. They are right.

However, our D is VERY blitz dependent to hide our warts at safety. You pick up the blitz, you’ll blow us out. No doubt. Google 3rd & Grantham, it’s real.

But keep an eye out for Greenard, he’s nearing Dante Fowler level of dominance. We will be the best D you face til Bama. We will contain your O, but not stop it.

Our offense is improving, but we really struggle running the ball. Can’t run, means you gotta pass. You gotta pass you gotta rely on your QB. Our QB is only starting his 4th game since 9th Grade!

Trask makes great reads, throws a great ball, and is far and away my favorite gator since Tebow. But, with an O-line softer than an FSU master’s degree, I don’t know if he can handle Death Valley at night. We’re going to get some points early, but I think the well may dry up.

Hate to say it, I think you guys win. And, it could get ugly. I don’t think it will get ugly, but it could.
