it is unfortunate that this one issue has overtaken and overwhelmed all discussion of all other environmental issues.

These is an honest question for those who believe in manmade climate change....

How can a gas, namely CO2, that makes up like .034% of the atmosphere actually alter the global climate?

How much unnecessary carbon was spewed into the air as a result of the traffic jam?

By doing what, exactly? Taxing us into oblivion so gubmint officials can get richer and gain more control over lives? Screw that.

Tell ya what. I'll solve your climate crisis for free right now.

Too hot? Wear lighter clothing and stay in the shade.
Too cold? Layers work well.

As for the alleged rising sea levels, I was recently in NYC. With all the talk of disaster, Manhatran somehow remains above sea level.

It's way past time for the libs to understand that as the Earth changes, weadapt - as indibiduals. It's called freedom. One size fits all. Try some. You just might like it.

Further to this point, that no one has started the effort to move washing DC, the nation's capital, from the sea-level coastal area to a safe place further inland sure suggests that maybe the sea rising talk isn't true.

I dont really understand these people. If they get exactly what they want, what would that be? every car and every factory and every power plant shuts down? Seems to me there are just people that get off on making a big scene/protest just for the hell of it. I would be willing to bet most of these people are too stupid to even have an idea of how to "fix climate change"

If you are judging whether something is true or not based on humans efforts to thwart the danger...uh we dont have the best track record

If the data is too be believed we should not start seeing issues with sea level rise for while 25-100 years. depending on location.

Protestors should not have been arrested.

They should have been tazed, pepper sprayed, and beaten with night sticks and left for dead in a bloody pile in the gutter.

Actually with regards to man made climate changed it started to be discussed 125 years ago..We hear "prognostications" that an asteroid my hit us or the yellow stone caldera may erupt.. should we simply stick our fingers in our ears and say lalalala.. there is a balanced approach to looking at this issue that like I said has become so politicized by both sides that people are just making asses of themselves instead of examining data..
