Porsche Cayenne reliability and maintenance

My wife's (no pics) car was totaled a couple of weeks ago and we've been looking for another vehicle. She drove a 2016 base model (non turbo) Cayenne last night and loves it. I know nothing about these vehicles as far as maintenance costs and reliability. We tend to keep our cars a while, and she drives a lot. Her last 3 cars had well over 200k on them when we traded them. Any OT ballers have experience with these?

Subtle brag about having drivers license

These criteria eliminate Porsche. You'll need to stick with a less interesting Japanese ride.

do you plan on having every service done at the stealership? Because buying a Porsche is the guaranteed way to accomplish that.

I would imagine they're sky high and a PITA to do anything on.

Find a CPO diesel. Powertrain warrantied through 2024 or some shite due to dieselgate concessions
Reliability is very high on Porsche. Higher than most Japanese makes.
Maintenance will be quite costly though

We have the exact same car year and model. Awesome car that holds its value very well.
That said DO NOT LET BRIAN HARRIS PORSCHE TOUCH THAT CAR.
Lying, thieving pricks!
Take it to Loupe Automove in BR. Paul Loupe is incredible and honest is the day is long. He did scheduled maintenance repairs for 1/4 of Brian Harris. You can thank me later

Where do you live? Maybe someone can pout you to a good indy mechanic.

First, she needs to learn to drive and be put on a probation period of a few years without totaling another car in that time.

When I bought my wife's Acura, someone had traded in a 2 yo one partially because of maintenance costs.
Amazing vehicle but rough on the pocketbook.
Porsche Cayenne estimated costs.

Get her a Honda, and if she totals that, a bus pass

Land Cruiser or QX80 for reliability and maintenance costs

Just be sure to get the 10-year payment plan.

we have a 2014, transfer case needs to be replaced, at 30k miles, $ 4000-$5000 fix. make sure this is not an issue with your year model. i know they redesign the part because of issues. oil change is $135 at Christian Bros auto. Solid ride otherwise.

If you're concerned about maintenance costs you probably shouldn't be buying a Porsche.

How many miles are on it? I had a base Cayenne for five years. Maintenance was nothing but regular factory maintenance and oil changes, tires and brakes once. I drove it to 110k miles before I got rid of it.
The only thing I got hit with was right before I got rid of it. I don't even remember what it was now but it was a $2500 repair for the parts and labor. I sourced the parts on my own because it was a weird thing to break and Porsche wanted $$$$$ for the part.
ETA: Find a good local Porsche mechanic. If you're near a city there's bound to be a shop that preps cars for track days. Those guys are really good and I found their costs to be reasonable.
