The Jay Ducote Show 107.3 4pm-6pm

The show started yesterday and I just listened to the first two hours on podcast.
It's the first show, so kind of an introduction to what the show will be like. If you are familiar with his weekend Bite and Booze show, it's definitely going to be different.
Jay and Chuck P. will cover the food and drink scene but will also discuss relevant topics that will strengthen the community.
Curious to see how the show is received. It may take some time for it to 'find' itself. The biggest problem for me is going up against 104.5 Matt Moscona in the time slot. At least now I have a radio station I can switch to when Matt has his fantasy football who-to-play segment.

I agree. I like this idea, but I hate where they put it... Not to mention they took off Guy Benson, who was the only 107.3 host I enjoyed listening to when 104.5 goes to commercial.

It should be a nice alternative for when Moscona is going into excruciating detail about LSU's relief pitching options for the Wednesday night game against South Alabama.

As much as I enjoy the banter of sports-talk radio, Moscona's show has turned into a spokesperson buzzkill of a show.

Chef Ducote is a super-nice guy and has worked incredibly hard for more than a decade. Glad to see him succeed and wish him nothing but the best. I'll be giving the podcasts a shot.

And the fact that you can name all of those is the reason why he does it. Not to mention that is how he makes his money.
