They certainly don’t look like they have any physical disabilities. Mental, sure ,,, maybe.

But my guess is they don’t put any effort into school and aren’t really SPED in the traditional sense. Mom doesn’t help or care. Dad, whoever that is, not in the picture.

They lack discipline and structure. At some point, you have to want it for yourself, despite the situation they may have been brought up in. If not, they will in fact one day, become the “victim.”

It’s just sad. Everyone in that classroom is basically lost at this point.

We’re not going to have enough teachers and cops left in the near future (at least qualified ones)

bruh, if those kids are SPED, the potential of "crazy checks" looms large. this is one of those terrible consequences of feel good government, that progressives will tell you is an insane conspiracy theory/racist if you talk about it

yes, and, what's more sad, is that our entire educational system is geared towards "saving" them, more than diverting resources towards the top or middle kids. take it out of the Special Ed angle and imagine those kids in normal classes, ruing the educations of dozens of good kids just trying to learn. and then imagine the policy makers jacking off with their own smugness at night imaging the one in a million shot that one of the SPED kids goes to college.

I teach English in Japan. The kids are polite and respectful. The worst of them do things like fall asleep in class.

When I go back to the US, I'll probably change professions because I'm not dealing with that shite.

If you can teach in a predominately white suburban area with high real estate prices the chances of this ever happening is almost zero.

I blame the administration. You can’t hire a homosexual white male to teach young black males. It’s a recipe for disaster.

. I would like to know how many of the high profile incidents involving police involved a former SPED student.

Good luck with that. We can't even get accurate numbers on how many citizens the police murder every year. Citizens have to keep track because local government are not required to do so.

You also can't refuse to hire him. Checkmate.

Public schools are broken.

There is already a shortage now. Not many are going into education and red tape and lack of discipline is driving many out of the profession or into retirement . Sad future for sure unless things change

Well before he got the shite kicked out of him, probably to virtue signal to all his other buddies about what amazing things he's doing for underprivileged misunderstood inner city youths.

That’s the crap right there. Like 1 out of 6 black males is SPED in these underprivileged schools.

What are the odds?

Need to have jury type decisions on whether teachers get fired from schools, not school board decisions. That would allow the teachers to beat the shite out of these kids and solve the problems in school.

There is absolutely no way I would not have had a come to Jesus meeting with that kid, and that's exactly what most of these kids need, fear.
