Gus was not that great of an OC without a transcendent talent at QB.
If you recall the 2009 season they beat the lesser teams then could not score against LSU. Played the Bama game close because of two big plays.
In 2011 his OL was so bad that it made his qb quit by week 6. Didn't score again...

Not sure Joey has the quickness needed to run for his life behind the shitshow we call an OL. Most QBs would not be 5-1 right now with what Nix has around him and the moron he has coaching him. Nix is special, if you can't see it you don't know football ...
