Well if they can go a month without alcohol they aren’t really alcoholics then. So sounds like they’re proving themselves right

Yeah. My birthday is in October, its football season, and its Halloween.

I don't personally have friends doing it, but the people I have seen say they are doing it are all bartenders who drink way more than average. So OP might be onto something.

I decided a couple years ago to stop drinking on weeknights unless it is some kind of planned outing, and it has yielded great results.

I'm in sober October.... because I partied so hard for three days last weekend I am finally getting back to normal

I know people who went years without drinking and fell off the wagon. Not pretty. Definitely alcoholics.

Nope because I know a lot of Auburn fans and our coach drives you to drink.
