Probably frustrated with not receiving more playing time, well, I can't blame him because Edwards-Helaire is used waay too much. But he can transfer to Tulane or whomever and get more PT now, but they better start playing more of these RB's before another one transfers like Curry, I can see him doing the same. I mean Emery and Davis-Price should be playing more along with Curry.

He was class of 2014. This was his last year of eligibility. He is done and off to the real world.

So he just quit on his team in the middle of the season because of lack of playing time? WTF!
Lets hope theres more to this story than that.

I wish him good luck. I hate that he is throwing in the towel half way through this season. He got some good reps and made plays. He probably wouldve played some in the utah state game as well. Its my own opinion but I feel quitting now is like running 25 miles of the marathon and cutting out at the last mile. But thats just me.

I mean, I understand if he wants to get his life started, but why now? The timing is odd. Maybe he got a job offer or something?

I think his degree was in helping my older brother do anything he needs.

Well if he is then he is, I wish the guy luck, I rather he stuck it out and voiced his frustrations about lack of PT to Orgeron.

Yeah, I don't like someone quitting halfway through myself, but it is what it is.

Conversation Brody Miller @BrodyAMiller Fournette graduated in May. He's already withdrawn from school. Sources say he was about to lose more reps to the freshmen running backs and was ready to move on. #LSU

My body is ready for the freshmen backs

I dont know how football life works after graduation, do you have to enroll in grad school and take a minimum amount of hours? Just declare for a 2nd major and take some BS classes?

My guess is he was just taking some burner courses on the side to maybe play some this year and realized now he really wont play.

Curry will probably be next, he almost left last year due to playing time until coaches convinced him to redshirt

I didn't read anything, man, it's called speculation. Curry isn't getting much PT himself. Nevermind, I see your reply was to someone else and I mistook it for a reply to me.

The source said that Fournette, "just wants to move on with his life."

He should have stayed on the team and won a ring.

Even though he didn’t play much he’d always be a national champion and people would love him where he went.

Now he’ll be the guy who quit during the national championship season.
