I love the way everyone dismisses him. He has played good! He's not his older brother and never will be but he has done nothing to hurt the Tigers the last two years but instead has had some nice runs and catches. I, for one, have thought he deserved more playing time. When you work hard and put the time in that he has, I can see where he might think he is getting screwed. The young guys have two or three years after this one to show out.
They have shown very little so far and yes they have gotten chances also.

I don’t see his name on the website. I don’t know his circumstances but I do feel bad for him to some degree. I think he is a capable of catching the ball out of backfield. It could be a disciplinary, academic issue or personal issue. I selfishly wish he’d stick it out and contribute where he can. I don’t fault him if he decided to give it up though.

Pretty sure Lanard's first year on the team was 2015 and he redshirted.

This is his fifth year of eligibility so he wouldn't be able to transfer anywhere. If this isn't just some unfounded rumor then why not stick with the team for the rest of the year and potentially win a title?

He was never going to be the starter but he's definitely going to get some more playing time this year.

Last time I checked, five years to play four is all you get. If this is his fourth year he is done.

I was hoping he would be better than what he has shown to be. I would put in the young guys because at least you would expect them to get better with the experience.

He hasn’t been productive with plenty (too many imo) of carries

He's had 13 carries in 4 games, 3 per game basically. Emery, Davis-Price, and Burrow have more than he does.

don't get your math. He could play 1 year at FCS school. He'll be able to claim one of those years as a redshirt.

This could nothing but Google cached the roster at 12:38AM this morning and Lanard was on it. As of right now, he is not.

I don't know what the situation is with Curry but talent-wise I'd enjoy seeing him receive more reps. He runs hard and rarely brought down with an arm tackle.
