Did you really leave out the 2013 defense

Let’s flip the thread. How has Aranda been better?

I don’t think I should have to explain to you I used as many games as Aranda’s been coaching here.

ETA: however Aranda’s 2019 has started off worryingly similar to 2013.

His defenses have put up similar numbers while being less talented.

Haven’t been fully healthy since 2nd half of Texas.

This thread really isn’t turning out like you planned? There are things in life I just can’t understand.

I don't think Chavis's teams had near as many missed tackles.
It was time for him to go though. He did not recruit well.

It is disturbing that Aranda's D is trending in the wrong direction every year.

People got their feelings hurt by the title. If they think about it they’ll have a realization.

Yeah I’m sure in 2018 the 7 overtime game didn’t have anything to do with that right? Also the changing of offenses in the SEC has an impact

Rankings are what they are. It's the same for other DC not just Aranda

I hope Aranda leaves just so I can see y’all crying about the next DC.

Why didn't we drop 2.5 mil on Chavis?

Because there was no threat of Chavis leaving for the NFL, where there was with Aranda.

How much hand do you suppose Aranda had in recruiting the guys that made up the 2016 and 2017 defenses?

Cause Chavis quit on us and started recruiting for A&M while still employed at LSU

Which is ironic because he never recruited for LSU.

When Aranda arrived at LSU there were more kickers on scholarship than linebackers.

Offenses in the SEC as a whole changed in 2012-2014 to what we see today. Even Saban started spreading it out in that time and Chavis’s defense’s struggles to adjust to the new style as evident by his ending at LSU and his time at A&M/Arky.

Chavis cost LSU more success in 2013

When Chavis doesn't have elite talent and a running game that eats clock.. he is horrible.

He got released from a&m and is at one of the worst programs in America right now..
