You can’t discuss Progressives/Leftists without discussing NARCISSISM . It’s really a recipe for disaster, but it’s a really common thing . Tremendous ignorance mixed with this strident narcissistic anger, wrapped in this infantile package. And they eat it up. It is essentially a cultural ritual of their fundamentalist pseudo- religion. This was church for these people.

We have reached a kind of decadent phase of Western Civilization, where we have a segment of society, easily the worst among us, the least virtuous on a personal level, complete Ideological vessels-screaming at us about all the many ways we are ruining them and that their tantrums won’t stop until we agree to be coerced and punished into total State control. It’s all about orchestrating the perception that only The State can save us from ourselves. And if it takes a psychologically-disturbed teen screaming and crying, so be it.

The kid was totally off putting that's for sure. She came across like a spoiled little brat. How did she ever get to this point anyway? It's not like she's actually done anything or had anything traumatic happen to her.
