USU has a history of making big name opponents very uncomfortable. Tigers still win, but this isn't a Northwestern State type game.

2010 31-24 L @ Oklahoma
2011 42-38 L @ Auburn (USU led 38-28 with 3:38 to play)

2013 17-14 L @ USCw
2018 38-31 L @ Michigan State

They do on occasion. That is why we still owe them a beat down in football.

The QB will wear out whoever we have guarding the slot receiver.

You could argue their QB is the best one LSU will play until the game vs. Alabama. Hell, he's probably the best QB outside of Tua and Ehlinger LSU will play all season. Obviously, he doesn't have the supporting cast of most of the other teams LSU will play and that will be the difference. But, he'll carve LSU up (to some degree) if we are lazy on defense.

Damn. Well if the Tigers come out flat after knowing this, they’ll have themselves and the coaches to blame.

USU is a good team. They can’t keep up in this track meet. I see this 54 - 24 and USU gets no D scores.

Well this has been the case since the first game.

I thought they looked pretty pedestrian against SDSU, and the SDSU coaching staff had some real head scratchers coming down to the wire. I was not impressed so much with either team.

The first game I attended in Tiger stadium was a night game against Utah State back in the 20th century, they dinked and dunked their way into a 4 TD loss and the Tiger faithful at the game were immensely disappointed because Utah State scored 21. As a result I have payed a little attention to them over the years, and they kinda still do the same thing, get passes out quick for 4 yard gains, eat up clock and score a few touchdowns.

Put up 26 vs San Diego St and there was a pick six in there, so offense was responsible for 19. This was a hard game to watch...and if anyone is interested, at least the whole first half is on YouTube.

Such a vague premise. Give us a final score spread so we can reliably judge your prediction and evaluation skills!!
