“As it turns out, what I learned from that experience in hindsight was, it was a huge mistake to leave college football,” Saban told the USA Today Network in a recently revisited interview. “And I know a lot of LSU fans think I left for whatever reasons, but I left because I wanted to be a pro coach, or thought I wanted to be a pro coach. We loved LSU. We worked hard to build the program. If there was one thing professionally that I would do over again, it would’ve been not to leave LSU.”

Saban was always a rolling stone until he made it to Alabama.
As a head coach he doesn't stay at a place longer than 5 years until he gets to Alabama then he spends more time there than everywhere else combined.

And the Bama obsession goes on. Do you think they are posting stories about O on their sites??
Posted on 9/17/19 at 7:14 pm to kkv75
No because O was not their head coach

Absolutely. It's only reasonable for us to expect him to let us win every once in a while.

We should’ve fired Miles when he wanted to come back to coach college

The LSU saban complex is one of the most complicated in college football history. Good god.

Hopefully this means he's close to hanging the headset up.

There were some bigly donors who were pissed that said no. This is a fact. Saban burned this bridge

It could be a play by Shakespeare. It’s a really screwed up turn of events when you sit back and think about it in the grand scheme of things. Sure I enjoy hating Saban right now but I’ll be happy when he retires and be very thankful for putting LSU at the forefront of college football in the 21st century.
