And Saban loved LSU so much that he made the official announcement on Christmas Day. His ego is way bigger than his heart.

The only justice in this whole Saban saga would be for him to leave and go to Tennessee and beat Alabama every year.

Cool quote. Just wish he would have said that year ago.

So when the job came open 3 years ago, why didn’t he reach out to show interest?

I thank Saban for all he did at LSU but the moment he left on Christmas day to go to Miami then to go to Bama the same day we played Norte dame in the sugar bowl frick him. He made comments in the past about not understanding why LSU fans don’t like him anymore. You can’t expect to come to Louisiana and get our instate recruits and beat us and not understand why we don’t like you. I always knew the LSU game was his biggest game every year but the moment I knew that was in 2013 when they beat us and he ran like a little school girl and jumped into the arms of aj mccaron. He doesn’t even get that happy when they win the championship.

The same LSU fans that “hate” Saban are the same ones that just became lifelong KU football fans. These same fans also placed “talks like us” as a prerequisite for the head coach job.

Saban is already on record about 8 years ago saying that he regretted leaving LSU.

Nick Saban is the very definition of LIAR.

This.

I remember when the son of a bitch got a raise, signed a contract extension, interviewed for the head coaching job of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and lied about it to Skip Bertman all in the course of one week.

Nick Saban was never out for anyone or anything other than himself. Everyone knew he was going to dump us the only question was when.

I did expect him to fail in the NFL and said it at the time. Two things I never expected were for him to go to Alabama or to become as successful there as he has. I thought he would last a little bit longer in the NFL and then jump to Florida State after Bobby Bowden pulled his pants up to his armpits and started driving 45 miles per hour through Miami rush hour traffic with his left turn signal flashing.

skip was such a boss. he said the biggest reason he hired les was that he had enough confidence(which became stubborness) and uniqueness to be capable of following saban in his own way. he didnt try to fill satans shoes he brought his own goofy arse shoes haha

there really was and is no coach that couldve done that better than les. thats what you get when your AD is in tune with exactly what the program needs at the moment and is bout that action. thank god allevas gone

the CLM years were insane
...all that being said god if we had got saban back...

There are people on this board who know what Les did during the Katrina year, saw him win a sugar bowl the next year, then saw him win a championship the year after that, and still claim to have wanted him fired the following year.

I guess what I'm saying is, compliment Les at your own risk in this shallow pool called the tiger rant.

That being said, would have been cool if Saban didn't go to the NFL.
