I jumped up and screamed FU Texas a couple of times at the TV. Don't know if the neighbors heard me but I doubt they would be surprised...I may live in Texas now, but they know my roots!!

"Mother F#$%king Dagger," is what I yelled in Section 111 surrounded by UT fans. Many of them packed up and left the stadium. Most stayed until the end.

I was watching with my family and we all sat there laughing with joy at the drive at the end of the first half while shaking our heads in disbelief. What is this????

We just laughed.

On 3rd and 17, we jumped up, high fived, and cheered. Knew the game was over.

Then for nervous again on the on sides kick.

I was at the game with some family and friends. On 3rd and 17 my nephew asked me what play would I run. I jokingly said a 17 yard pass play. After the score I told him the coaches are a lot smarter then me because they called for a 17 yard pass play with a 40 (approximately) yard after the catch run. High fives with about 8 to 10 LSU fans near us. Great, great pass and run.

At that point in the game, your opponent is no longer Texas but the clock. When they attempted the down field pass on first down I was pissed because you only needed TEN YARDS and a first down wins the game. The incomplete pass stopped the clock which was what you definitely do not want to do there. It also put you in second and long, resulting in a sack which put you at third and seventeen. Three plays to make a first down. Three plays to make a first down. Three plays to make a first down. Three plays to make a first down. THIS is your objective there, not even a score is as good because your opponent has the ball back and a chance to come back. Jefferson sliding down in bounds would have been the better choice.

Completely disagree. It was clear that our only hope was for the offense to win the game outright. Go conservative there and high chance we lose.

I was at bar in Nola with a huge patio. I was sitting at a picnic table. I jumped up onto the seat when Jefferson made the catch. I saw the Texas player miss the tackle. I then jumped up into a tree and began waving my fist in the air. Pretty epic moment in my life tbh.

Elation on a number of levels. I flashed back to CLM and his idiotic offensive philosophy (and to some extent O's) thinking that Miles would NEVER have done this...EVER. I knew then that the game was in hand.

Disbelief, followed by joy and elation. It was so atypical of any LSU offense I had seen since the magic year of 2007, I had trouble mentally processing what just happened. And Joe completed it under tremunctious pressure!
