Is fat shaming worth it? I think not!

Earlier today, I attended a funeral of a chick I knew from hs. Yea, she was over weight and obviously depressed about her situation, so she took her life and when her parents found her, they also found a suicide note explaining everything. For those of you that think fat shaming is a good thing, you need to have someone close to you take his/her life. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!!

You don't think all the shite she got for being fat was a part of the reason for her taking her own life?
I think there is a difference between fat shaming and encouraging a person to eat better. Call a fat person an obese land whale isn't going to make them want to work out. At the same time saying being fat is fine or healthy is even more dangerous

I can’t relate to your situation but having control of your body and what you decide to do with it is 100 percent on that person. Make a change or don’t it’s up to the person going through it. Make a change or not but at the end of the day the decision you make is on you. I’m sorry she took her life but she didn’t have to because she was overweight, that decision was on her.

Maybe if she would have taken command of her life she’d still be here today. Instead of feeling sorry for herself and not doing anything about it. Eating out all the time, drinking 2 “diet” Coke’s a day, having a breakfast milkshake at Starbucks, never exercising is not a winning recipe. I bet she was guilty of all 4.
