After assessing analysis on both Texas and LSU sites, seems to the Horns hold all the critical cards:
1. Home field advantage. Tigers are not accustomed to hostile crowds. This is Big 12.
2. Weather. Tigers will be unaccustomed to the hot weather they’ll encounter in Austin.
3. Freshmen DBs. Most Horn fans acknowledge that Stingley is a rare exception, but all those other freshmen starting at DB will not be able to handle the pressure.
4. Texas beat Georgia. How can LSU expect to beat a team that beat UGA last year?

You forgot to mention that they have eleven players on offense and 11 on defense. Also, they destroyed a powerhouse like Tech 38-14. We played no one last week.

I'm not surprised the OP got this many downvotes, I'm just disappointed.

The replies to this thread reiterate why a show like Arrested Development got cancelled...Americans really do need a laugh track to let them know when to laugh.

This one is easy to refute: Last year LSU beat UCF (defending national champions) who beat Temple (8-5) who beat Maryland (5-7) who beat Texas.
