It says meat, poultry, or seafood. Maybe they consider a sauce piquante a red gravy? Heck, maybe crawfish etouffee. Cream gravy with seafood? I dunno. Just sharing the rules from their Facebook page.

That seafood thing is messing with my brain, too. Rice and gravy to me means beef, pork, or chicken browned to hell and back in a pot and then braised in an onion gravy built from the fond.
Another dish with seafood may involve a gravy, rice, and be friggin' delicious, but I'd call it something other than rice and gravy.

Please enlighten me as to "what gravy actually is".
As a native south Louisianaian I had no idea we did gravy wrong, but if our way is wrong, then I damn sure don't want to be right.
