For my money it is MS. At least LA has NOLA and oil. There is little growth in the 'Sip and young, motivated people are leaving in droves. Our politicians only strategy is cut, cut, cut, never grow. MS has better deer hunting, better casinos and maybe slightly less corrupt politicians, but that's it.

MS has lower cost of living. That's why I live here - in order to go back to LA I would have to take a significant pay cut, as well as pay more for housing and more for auto insurance.

They’re 49th and 50th out of 50. It really doesn’t matter which is worse.

Honestly, both are a small step up from Aleppo.

Louisiana's favorite food is crawfish. Which Mississippi is the world leader in... Plus, Mississippi has the international ballet...

I can't think of anything Miss is better at than La. Hunting is a wash. Fishing is most likely a lean La. Cost of living is about the same. Both states have their legal vices like casino etc.

La wins in default because of Saints and Pelicans.

I enjoy shitting on LA as much as any reasonable person

but take away all the positives of LA and you're left with...Mississippi

It's not close

Right now? maybe La. 10 years from now? Probably Ms. Mis seems to be slightly improving but La can't get out of its own way.

I was stuckinMS, not stuckinLA. Also Mississippi has Ole Miss, so it can just go straight to hell.

That said, they're both crap and we're just talking about which one floats higher in the toilet.
