because they won't consider selling Greenland? This seems petty and I would find it insulting as a Dane.
Anyone want to show me why I should change my opinion?
Trump should have kept this on the low so as not embarrass the PM. Should have tactfully raised the subject: I think what we are talking about is Greenland becoming a U.S. protectorate to Russia and China out. Something like 40-50% of Danish GDP is going to Greenland. They might have been open to it if Trump hadn't acted like a bull in a china shop.

It could have been handled better but it is laughable that they cannot even come up with 2% GDP for NATO and are sending 40-50% GDP to Greenland which has a population of like 50,000 people...

These people are infected with TDS

If this is anywhere close to the truth, they should be looking to dump Greenland to the first buyer that comes along. Trump cant help it that he recognizes this and the Danes don't.
I'm sure Trump wasn't too delicate when bringing up the issue, but im more sure the media blew it up even more to make him look bad. (and would do it even more if he went on this trip)

I think you got it backwards. The Dutch PM should have never dignified the fake news media by commenting on the subject. Her comments were an attempt to embarrass the president of the USA regardless of whether Trump had any real intentions of buying greenland.
That alone was worthy of getting bumped off the schedule.

The Danish Prime Minister would have no qualms about embarrassing our president why should we reciprocate
