I got a fitting at Club Champion in Metairie and am likely going to get a driver and some wedges through them.

The Driver, the Cobra King F9 came back at $381.65 (before tax).

The Shaft, a Fuji PRO 2.0 Tour Spec- 7X came back at $315.00.

The SM7 Vokeys came back at $127.49 each. The shafts for the Vokeys, KBS Tour V (Vee) stiff at 65 a piece.

Then there are the grips (15 a piece) and the puring (30 a piece for wedges).

Do these seem right? Are they high? The fitter told me for the driver all they order is the head (all component based), so should that be lower since there will be no stock shaft?

Are crazy high. I used their specs and ordered from another fitter. The best part: the custom-fit shafts they were charging me for WERE FREE FROM THE frickING MANUFACTURER! Ended up with a set of irons for $1000 less than what club champion wanted

That's way to high. Check ebay or go through a different fitter.

Those are high as a cats back.

Take your specs somewhere else and get a batter deal

I can not believe a 315 dollar shaft is going to make any difference at all in your golf game. That seems absurdly high to me.

Way high.

The PRO 2.0 retails for $250.

The KBS Tour V is a $10 upcharge through Titleist.

So $1500 for a driver and 3 wedges? frick them. It's a shame that people actually pay that and keep them in business.

To put things in perspective, I went through a club pro who is a buddy but I got 3 SM6 wedges last November with KBS tour v shafts for around $105 a piece with tax and shipped.

I am seeing $300 and $250 respectively online doing a quick google search for these two items. I personally would not spend that on a driver but to each their own.

Have all your specs? Email me @gmail, I know a top 100 fitter who will do it way cheaper than CC if you have your spec sheet.

When you do this do they just let you walk out the door with your spec sheet or is there some type of charge for the fitting?
