If you don’t want to spread weeds, bag it.

I have a golf turf around the pool and I bag it. I let the rest fly.

First cut bag and clean it up real good so the grass can come up, rest of the year mower/mulch.

Blow some in the street for good measure

Mulch until late July, then start bagging. Clippings seem to build as it thickens into the summer.

Depends how high it is. For a normal cut, mulch it. If it’s been a while, bag it.

Mulching it is better for the grass.

And mix up your pattern. Don’t want to create ruts.

I used to bag portions of my lawn and let it fly in some areas. I began to notice the let it fly areas were thicker and healthier looking than the bagged portions. I let it fly on the whole yard nowadays.

We are all on one acre lots. We let it fly. The neighbor was bagging it and it it took him about 8 hours to mow. He was push mowing it also. Crazy old bastard.
I’d like to bag and mulch but I’m not trying to make a hobby out of mowing.

I only bag when I'm chopping up leaves in the fall. Usually just mulch the grass during the summer unless I let it get unusually high
