How do blind people know when they’re done wiping their arse?

Brought up by a podcast I was listening to. Made me think... how do blind people know when they’re clean?? Please discuss.

Kid I went to HS with had a dad who was legally blind. He died of colon cancer because he couldn't see the blood in his stool.

I honestly think a lot of things in their lives like that are just do what you can and hope for the best. Here's a good YouTube channel from a blind guy who does nothing but answer questions like this.

He probably wouldn't have been saved by sight anyway. Noticeable blood on the TP is mostly from topical abrasions. Actual blood in stool isn't necessarily noticeable.
