re: 'Succession' HBO season 2 discussion thread

The space and terrace were definitely under construction. When Ken walked through the space the first time this episode it was being fitted out and there were ramps in place to move the glass in etc. I think it’s the office because the apartment building is an older building that was retrofitted with the apartments (the windows in Gregs apartment where not full glass curtain wall like in a newer office building).

What’s great with this show is how you’re not sure if Kendall was being real with Shiv or just more smoke and mirrors. I do think he is unhinged and was sorta asking for a safety net from her but....He could be throwing her off the scent too.

I know a lot of people seem to like Roman on here (and he has some great lines) but every smartass remark he makes with that smirk makes me want to punch him right in the mouth.
Having said that, Ken outing him for speaking with the biographer, and Logan’s reaction, last week set up the creepy call with Gerri this week. Bless his heart he has some serious issues!

It's the perfect quid pro quo for the two of them. Jerri finally gets to say the things she has to hold back in the office and Roman finally found a woman who stimulates him


I also loved the subtle way the director introduced the scene by showing Jerri kicked up and wearing nylons. The camera angle showing her laid back in an almost intimate posture.

I can’t remember if it was that scene or another, but we saw what channel Jerri watches at home when she’s interested in the news.
