So the next question is: what happens to the people that own these chicken plants?

Nice terminology.
People aren't illegal,
But they are removable.

They have to start arresting the owners or slapping fines on these companies big league.

Plus their illegal families.

They are just removing them for their own safety to get them out of our country filled with all the white supremacists that want to gun them down.
I like it too.

Whoever came up with that needs a bonus.

“Removable” means they already have an order of removal by an immigration court judge.
They are further along in the process.
When Police find some dude and discover he’s from a foreign country without documentation (check Immigration database) there’s probable cause that he’s an illegal alien.
Immigration officers can get a detainer (warrant) to prevent his release, for example, if he was arrested by some local agency.
Assuming the detainer is observed by the locals, ICE has a limited amount of time to get him and bring him to an immigration court.
Assuming ICE gets him before an immigration court timely, he will have a bond hearing and possibly be released “on parole” while he awaits the actually immigration/deportation proceeding. This could take months or years.
Failure to show up will cause an automatic order of removal. Showing up and failing to prove that you are either in the US legally, or have a valid asylum request will cause you to be removed (deported) as well.
Most illegals don’t bother to show up at the hearing, and an order of removal is issued. They then become “removable aliens”.

I agree the employers should face consequences, but these people have fake ids, fake SS#, etc.

Then why not make ankle bracelets part of the "smart wall" funding?

I want opressively steep fines for employers caught hiring illegals. $250k per instance should be good for the first offense, and climp sharply upward from there.

You should be sent back until your case is called.

They are and should be doing that for the children. Think of them!

This is very true. In Los Angelas, there is a fake id/form kiosk/tent right next to the station. It's rampant.
If they fail to actually run a background check and go by application alone then should the employe also face consequences?

I'd rather they go with deeply implanted chips...in several areas.

Ultimately there has to be a semi efficient way to verify and easy documentation that it was completed. If you have the docs, so be it if someone was hired under false pretense. If you don’t run the check, fines seem fair.
Unless it’s a generally reliable system it ends up being a waste though.
