Guns have been legal forever.
The phenomenon of mass-shootings is more about cultural decline and collapse more than anything. Incels, and mentally-ill people who have no purpose.
We don't have a high-trust, worthwhile culture overall. Banning guns won't change much.

This is the weirdest crime scene situation I can recall. People still in the store casually hanging out. One guy still pushing a cart around like he’s waiting for the registers to open back up. People walking around the parking lot. All during an active shooting situation.

I don't understand why anybody would try this at a Walmart. The MS deal was personal, the guy shot his GM and DM and wounded a female, and set a fire inside.
As far as large group of people in a contained space, the Walmart would have to be super busy and crowded to get a high body count (which seems to be a motive). It has to be personal on some level, is my assumption.

I could be wrong, but I believe there's a Sam's in the same shopping center that's being used as safe zone/triage area. Perhaps some of the video is from inside there.
