...do you arrive at the airport?
Assuming your private jet is being worked on, of course.

Depends which airport. I’ve got pre tsa. If it’s MSY, I’m rolling up about 45 minutes before flight.

Usually an hr- gives time for security, using the restroom, or grabbing food.
I also will make a judgment call depending on what time the inbound flight is supposed to land. If i'm at an outstation like buffalo or baton rouge and see that the inbound is delayed 2 hrs, i know there won't be a plane swap and i'll head to the airport there much later

Depending on the airport and if you have done TSA Pre-check you want to be at the airport anywhere from 1-2 hours before the flight leaves.

If I am free and have the time I like to get there a skit a hour and a half before or so because I like to chill and have a beer or 2.

It depends on the airport. I fly out of Panama City and Tallahassee a lot. I get there about 45 minutes before departure and still have plenty of time.
I get there about 2 hours early to Denver, Atlanta, DFW, Houston, and other larger airports. Probably too cautious but I have been stuck in security for long periods at those airports.

Couldn’t fit the entire question in the subject line or...
....is that the only way you can get people to open your threads?

I like to leave my house an hour before the flight. Most times I still get to airport and through security...........
(Sorry couldn't think, plane overhead) in fifteen minutes.

That feeling that I will miss my flight causes me serious anxiety and stress.
So I will get to the airport at least 2 hours prior to my flight...maybe 2-3 if it is an international flight.
I love to read so give me a comfy spot to sit and some snacks and I can just hang out for hours and read on my Kindle and people watch until it's time to board. Even better if the terminal my flight leaves from has a decent restaurant/bar where I can sit at the bar and have a drink and some food while I wait.

I live on the edge.
35 min for btr, 1 hour for the large airports.
Because sitting, waiting at the gate is literally the worst thing in the world.
Literally.

BTR you can almost show up 30 mins before. MSY, 2 hours before because literally zero parking may be available. Last time out of NO, I had to park at a shady hotel on Williams.

For the airport I always try to get there with as little time as possible left. Unless it's an international flight

2 hours. I don’t like getting in a big hurry or stressing out about stuff. That, and I always enjoy some time in the airport. Have a couple beers and relax a bit.

2 hours at ATL with family
1hr 30 flying business
Enough time to get through a backed up security line and to the gate without any rush, I enjoy people watching in the terminal though
