What's up guys? I need some new good movies to watch that I might not have seen before. I don't care what it's about, what genre, how long, who's in it, when it came out, etc. I just need some more really good movies, highly talked about or not, to watch since I am out of suggestions for myself. Looking forward to hear what you got. Thanks.

Suspense = Alfred Hitchcock
Westerns = John Ford
Samurai = Akira Kurosawa

If you like those genre's and like classic movie, i'd start with movies from those guys. Everybody needs to have seen at least the 5 best movies from each of those directors.

Pretty broad question, but Pulp Fiction, Apocalypse Now, and Se7en are among my favorite movies.

I would mention The Godfather and Shawshank, but you've had to have heard that both are considered to the tGOAT

Roma on Netflix is one of the best shot movies I've ever seen. Every scene is picture perfect. An instant classic.

Here are a few:

Ben Hur (the original with Charlton Heston - it's not really about a chariot race)

The Graduate (Dustin Hoffman, Katherine Ross - Mike Nichols won the Oscar for Best Director, and that Simon and Garfunkel soundtract)

Slaughterhouse Five (no, it's not a slasher movie)

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Katherine Ross)

Starman (Jeff Bridges, Karen Allen)

Peggy Sue Got Married (Kathleen Turner, Nicholas Cage)

Body Heat (William Hurt and Kathleen Turner)

Breaking Away (if you can find it, for an enjoyable unknown cultie - the best little "coming of age" film, with young Dennis Quaid, Dennis Christopher, Jackie Earle Haley, Daniel Stern, Robin Douglass, and Paul Dooley, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor)

Watch a movie called eye in sky. It's fantastic. Edge of your seat and maddening.

It's about an English colonel who wants to do nothing more than launch a couple of hellfire missiles into a terrorist hideout. That's it, nothing more and the shite she has to go through to get it approved is very believable.

If you want to see a little known but great western. Watch barberosa with willie Nelson and Gary busy. It's probably my favorite western.

Oh and afterwards watch inglorious basterds. It's Quentin Tarantino's finest work ever. And then maybe Jackie brown. Few are better than that one.
