One of the few ways Trump could lose in 2020 is if he was exposed as being the person who pulled the plug on the investigations. If I know that, then I KNOW that he knows it.

Not trying to be argumentative, but I totally disagree that Trump doesn't have the stomach for this fight. Personally, I've never seen him shrink from any confrontation. Just look at what he's doing to China right now.

Besides, this has to be personal for him by now. A 2-year witch-hunt, and his opponents are still talking about impeachment. Just put yourself in his shoes. You are accused of something you did not do, and yet the Democrats and the media keep the false narrative alive for the first 2/3 of your first term. And even worse, you know that the other side actually did commit multiple crimes in an attempt to destroy your Presidency.

Throw in some family members and friends being drug through the mud, too, and there is NO WAY that President Trump will ever pull the plug on these investigations/prosecutions.

Why the frick does intent to break the law matter to these people but not to folks like you and me?

Notice NONE of these referrals have gone to a Grand Jury, and instead a career prosecutor is making the decision?

It’s how they protect their own.

Not hard to see what’s going on here.

I have zero doubt that Trump has the balls. I just don't trust the Graham, Huber, Horowitz, Wray's. This is a lot of untrust. I don't like having all the eggs in Barr's basket.

Someone refresh my memory was it Graham that did or said something (he went along with some BS diss of Trump then took it back rightquick?) after the Jim Jordan/Nunes group of guys called him/them out. Who was it it was a few months ago?

he did not believe they had enough evidence of Comey’s intent to violate the law,

The intent is the very investigation in and of itself. He used an unverified dossier to start it at the behest of the Obama administration/Hillary and the DNC. He was the head of the FBI and lied to the President about him being the very one under investigation. If he would have done his freaking job instead of being a Dem operative there never would have been a special counsel investigation because there wasn't evidence to have an investigation. If one of these FBI/DOJ/CIA/DNI operatives that we ALL know were involved don't get charged with TREASON then we have lost this country. Piss on the fire and call off the dogs, it's over.

Does that make sense now?

No.

This is low hanging fruit. Indicting him on leaks may not have anything to do with the FISA abuse...but FISA abuse doesn't prevent them from going after Comey for the leaks.

This is a very clear signal that we, the people, are not going to see justice.

Oh, make no mistake. I don't either.

However, when Mr. Trump says "This can never happen to a President again," I believe he's damn serious.

Yes, and that has nothing whatsoever to do with the OP.

I’ll go understanding that as long as you understand this.

There is a good, good chance he skates. The amount of time that has surpassed has made not just conservatives, but all Americans numb.

Is he guilty? If yes, go on and charge his arse.
I don’t need a special carve out.

Justice is taking too long.
No DECLAS is going to happen.

Sorry, but looking at what we know right now, it looks like the overlords are just flat untouchable.

If they don't even feel like they have enough on Comey to charge him with leaking, how would they have enough to charge him with a capital offense?

Not because they’re his opponents, but because they violated the laws of the republic for political purposes in a particularly egregious manner. It wasn’t that they did it to Donald Trump. It was that they did it at all. We shall see. Lex Est Arma Regum.

That's what they are doing now, isn't it? REAL Americans who are educated and not indoctrinated sift through all this filth, don't they? They have done this to the President from the beginning. They can't possibly do any more damage. They are out of ammo, in my opinion.

The filthy sheep are going to be filthy sheep. I have faith that there is enough juice left by REAL Americans to get the President re-elected, no matter what lying filth the corrupt media spews out this next 15 months.

Trump has a year and half. And if the Dems have their way, and as it looks now like they will, his second term is in jeopardy. With operatives still in all of our intelligence departments, if Trump loses, which I have no doubt nefarious things will happen in this election, all of this other stuff goes away. Barr has got to start prosecuting these people or they skate.

frick that "move along" stuff.

The FedGov of the USA used its police and prosecutorial powers to attack political enemies for purely political reasons? This is Totalitarian Police Staat stuff, dude.

If we "move along" from this, IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN.
