FBD is a Two Roads Honeyspot Road. Going to be an excellent day after feeling like I was going to die the last few while taking the Bar Exam.

FBD- Boomsauce next to the waterfront.

The bar says it is a 9% DIPA, so I'm a bit confused.

It is. Boomsauce is brewed just outside Boston so it’s a staple in my fridge.

I was only confused because I can't find a 9% DIPA Boomsauce on their website.

That's a heavy pour for an 11% beer (and a tasty one at that)

I think I'm taking today and most of tomorrow off after our little friends trip. But I'll be back tomorrow and ready to roll.

FBD is a Block 15 Dab Lab with Spruce Tips. Forgot to take a pic, so I'll leave you with the description.

For those who have not tried a Spruce tip beer, the spruce does not taste piny, but very fruity. Block 15 has managed to add enough dank hops to balance this beer out. I like this one a lot.

quote:

Brewed with locally foraged spruce tips and a blend of six different hop varietals—including CO2 extractions, lupulin powder, and traditional hops—this entry in The DAB Lab series offers a wonderfully unique flavor profile that melds vibrant flavors of coniferous resin and fruit loops from the spruce tips with a hop profile that layers on orange marmalade, jackfruit, fresh citrus, berries, pine, and a whisper of dank herbs.
