Is spot on. Morrisville is little India.... used to be farms and commercial only. Now developers, from India, btw, have bought up land and built out subdivisions that are 98% Indian.

In general, the thought has occured to me that every post-1965 immigrant with few exceptions for Vietnamese and Laotian, primarily came to the US for economic opportunity.
Most of them left really shitty countries to come here to make more money in a society and culture built by others who came before them, and who did not look like them.
There is no idea of "national identity" in the US anymore, which is one reason this country's days are limited.
We don't agree on much, ergo we do not have a high-trust society worth living in.

I'm going to overlook the fact you're conflating Immigrants with Illegals (on purpose?). There never was a one American culture. Beyond the basics (respect for the constitution, positive attitude to enterprise, private property rights, tolerance for others to a degree). The southern aristocrat was different from the Puritan clergy, just as the Appalachian hillbilly was different from the typical cowboy of the so-called "wild" west.
Immigration is net positive for America, and even Reagan knew that.

Strategically, we didn't achieve much but turning over half of Europe to the Communists for a generation. We didn't prevent "the Holocaust". We didn't "Save Europe" from anything.
We simply traded a world-order that might have had Three Superpowers for one that had Two.
That begat us the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Sexual Revolution (because the Marxists actually won) and thousands more dead Americans and trillions wasted on the Cold War.
The propaganda at the time told young Americans they'd be speaking German and their women would be raped and pillaged by the Japanese.
We destroyed what was left of the West, and we are watching civilization in its death throes anyway.

If a person honestly, earnestly believes that there's no valuable difference between immigration from Germany, England, and France, versus immigration of Australian aborigines or Somalians, then I can't really have an honest conversation with that person.

Without America, Europe would've ceased to exist as a relatively free society, not to mention the rest of the world considering the Japanese. Our mistake was entering WWI, that prevented Germany from suing (successfully) for peace. Instead, France got big headed and demanded too much from Germany, driving the Weimar Republic bankrupt and allowing the rise of Hitler.
Also, the west gave Japan the short stick in the 1920s. We tried to boss Japan around while committing the same sins (colonialism). Japan invading China is the main reason why the Communists run China to this day.
So many european males died, immigration from former colonies was needed for the rebuild.
