Is it where you thought it would be when you graduated High School?

Nah, but that's a great thing. Most of us are pretty naive at 18

Well past any goal I ever set for myself. Hardwork, a little luck and marrying the right woman has me where I never ever could have imagined for myself.

I never really thought about being 59 but I'm pretty happy with where I'm at.

Hell no. Went to a different university than planned, got a different degree than I planned, ended up going to grad school out of state, got married, had a child, live in a city i never thought about.

I am very happy how it all turned out, and I am blessed. It is not how I planned/expected it to be though.

Nope. I thought I would graduate Architecture at 22/23, married by 25, kids and my own firm by 30.

Single, never married, no kids and not in architecture....MUCH happier with the path life has gone.

I didn't think I would have to think about transgender people as much,

I certainly foresaw when I graduated in the 1980s that today in 2019 I would be spending my lunch typing on my handheld phone a message to a stranger that lives in Nebraska .

At 18 I didn’t ever wanna get married or have kids. That actually was same thought to my mid 20s. Now I’m married with 4 kids. I went from gonna be a cop, to a historian, changed major from criminal justice to history. Now I’m on a fire dept.

Lol grats to everyone. I went a different route than I thought...not happy at all.

Hopefully turns around soon. Some positives but more negatives.

mine is totally not the same as i thought it would be. I went to college to get a degree in fisheries and wildlife. knocked up my GF when I was 21 got married and had a job with the railroad before I graduated. Never had a chance to use the degree I pissed away money on but oh well.

not sure if im happier with how my life has gone though.

Yep

Most people are entirely different at 35 than they were at 18. You figure out what works for you along the way.

marrying the right woman

Absolutely key. Took me 2 tries, but the second time was a homerun.

I never gave up in business and got fortunate enough to spend 10 years at a company that basically trained me on how to run my own business.

At 57, I hope to phase out and enjoy the good times.
