If I am going in public and I am dressing casual, I don't like to mix and match brands. I have adidas shoes, Pumas.. And nike, adidas and under armor shirts (plus shirts of other brands). I try to go with shirts in which you can't see the brand label.
Right now my primary tennis shoes are adidas, my every day shoes are Pumas so it really all depends.
