I posted the thread just for something to chew on. It's not a big deal.
The point of the thread is to stop complaining about pandering and virtue signaling and to let go of any fantasy it will backlash.
I'm perfectly fine with it all because it's what the movie going public wants.

I haven't complained about hollywood pandering or virtue signaling not once. And no, there's no "hollywood conspiracy" and i stated in a previous post there's no agenda. Market research and focus group studies aren't a "conspiracy".

The first one is Cmdr. Becky Calder. She was the first woman to complete TOPGUN.
The second one is CDR Leslie Mintz. She completed TOPGUN too.

There's probably more by now, but I can't find a list of TOPGUN graduates.
Seems like it would almost be odd if Maverick didn't cross paths with a female fighter pilot.
